How do I submit a warranty request?
You can send in a warranty claim by logging into the 2-10 Home Buyer’s portal at https://secure.2-10.com/Homeowner
What should I do if I have an emergency issue?
You’ll find emergency contact numbers for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing problems on the sticker located inside your garage breaker box.
What does my 2-year distribution systems warranty include?
It covers the major systems in your home—mechanical components, plumbing, water supply, heating and cooling, and electrical systems. For full details, check pages 36–37 of your 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty booklet.
Where can I find the paint colors used inside my home?
Your wall and trim paint colors are listed on page 22 of your New Homeowner Welcome Packet.
How do I report a concern related to my HOA?
Turn to page 33 of your New Homeowner Welcome Packet for instructions on how to reach your HOA or submit a request.
Which warranty items should wait for my 10-month walk-through?
Cosmetic settling items—such as nail pops, minor sheetrock cracks, or spots needing extra caulk—are best reviewed during your 10-month walk.
Which items should I report as soon as possible?
Issues involving heating and cooling, electrical systems, or plumbing should be reported right away. Anything that could worsen or affect normal use of your home should also be submitted immediately.
Do I need to notify the builder before making changes or additions?
Yes. Work performed by anyone not approved by the builder may void parts of your warranty. If you live in an HOA community, your improvements may also require prior approval.
How can I find out which subcontractors worked on my home?
A list of subcontractors is included on page 15 of your New Homeowner Welcome Packet
Are appliances included in the 2-10 warranty?
No. Appliances like your refrigerator, oven, stove, and microwave are covered by a separate 1-year manufacturer warranty from the appliance brand.
